We are so excited about our Hope City Kids 2026 VBS - Emerald Crossing!

In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them. At Emerald Crossing VBS, we will journey through Ireland’s lush landscapes, exploring the powerful words of Psalm 23. We will discover the life of the shepherd-king David and will learn how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.

Hope City Kids Emerald Crossing VBS will be held Monday, July 6th thru Thursday, July 9th at Shoal River Middle School from 6:00-8:30PM. (Please note: Dinner will not be provided so children will need to eat dinner before arriving. We will provide a small snack each evening.)

Photo Release, Activity Waiver, Release, and Medical Authorization

I understand that VBS activities may include games, sports, crafts, and other recreational activities, and that these activities carry some risk of injury. I voluntarily allow my child to participate and assume those risks on my child's behalf. I hereby release, hold harmless, and forever discharge Hope City Community Church, its staff, and volunteers from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from my child's participation in VBS, except for injury caused by the Church's gross negligence or willful misconduct. If my child is injured or becomes ill and I cannot be reached, I authorize Hope City Community Church staff or volunteers to seek emergency medical treatment on my child's behalf, and I agree to be financially responsible for any resulting treatment costs. I understand my child will be expected to follow VBS rules and behavior guidelines, and that Hope City Community Church may dismiss my child from VBS for unsafe or disruptive conduct.

I hereby grant Hope City Community Church permission to use my child's likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media (photo) in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. I understand and agree that all photos will become the property of Hope City Community Church and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize Hope City Community Church to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my child's likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo. I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge Hope City Community Church from all claims, demands, and causes of action, which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
